Introduction to Quranic Arabic

Our Curriculum for Online Quran Reading Program

Quraany Online Academy has prepared a detailed and well-structured Online Quran Recitation Course curriculum inspired by Noorani Qaida, Noor-al-Bayan, and the Holy Quran itself, ensuring quick and effective Quran learning for children and adults alike. 

Inspired by Noorani Qaida vowel exercises, we teach students how to apply short vowels (Fatha, Kasra, Damma) to the Arabic letters, which changes the sound of each letter.

Extracting techniques from Noor-al-Bayan, our course teaches students to connect individual letters into words. We teach learners how the shapes of the letters change depending on their position in a word (beginning, middle, end).

We teach students to read a short phrase from the Quran correctly by applying Tajweed rules like elongation (Madd) and correct pauses (Waqf). We move to short Surahs like Al-Fatiha and Al-Kausar as they get better.

Students are taught to read longer phrases and Surahs with confidence and with minimal help from the tutors. This builds their confidence and helps them independently read entire passages.
